Our Q-Eye Radar solution monitors contaminated media in open channels and partially filled pipes without contact and with minimal maintenance, is compact and easy to install, and reliably measures bidirectional flows down to very low velocities from 0.02 m/s.

Q-Eye Radar is designed for stationary monitoring of lightly to heavily contaminated media in open channels or partially filled pipes. It is suitable for continuous operation in open channels and rivers as well as in municipal wastewater and stormwater systems. Its compact design and non-contact measuring principle enable easy installation and ensure safe, low-maintenance operation. In addition, Q-Eye Radar detects bidirectional flows across its entire measuring range and measures flow velocities near zero down to 0.02 m/s, allowing even very low flows to be reliably monitored.
Mounting outside the medium – no contact with contaminated liquid and no sensor maintenance required due to fouling.
Radar velocity sensor and water level sensor provide precise data for flow calculation in open channels.
The velocity sensor sends a radar signal to the water surface, which is reflected – the Doppler frequency shift determines the local flow velocity.
The height sensor measures the water level at the same point; the system calculates areas and total flow based on the channel profile.
Ideal for wastewater, rainwater and open channels – reliable, low-maintenance and precise.
Our sensor range includes speed velocity and water level sensors for hydrological and wastewater applications – optionally ultrasonic, radar or hydrostatic.
