Our SONICO® NANO domestic water meters offer the highest precision up to R2000 in nominal diameters from DN15 to DN40. With a service life of up to 20 years, it detects even the smallest leakage, protects the supply network from contamination, and impresses with its high installation flexibility and seamless integration into communication systems in LoRa/wMBus dual mode.
We guarantee the highest measurement accuracy and repeatability up to an approved measuring range according to MID of R2000 and deliver precise results even at very low flow rates, in all flow directions, and under any installation conditions. By detecting leaks, backflows, and potential contamination, we ensure maximum safety in the water network. The SONICO® NANO securely stores up to 4000 measurement data points in its internal memory. Encrypted NFC and wireless communication interfaces provide reliable protection against tampering. Robust and carefully selected materials, along with a design optimized for utility applications, enable use in demanding environments, reduce overall costs, and minimize the carbon footprint.
The SONICO® NANO can be used in a wide variety of installation situations, regardless of flow direction or installation conditions. The SONICO® NANO provides valuable information for the water network by continuously recording and reporting key operational data such as flow rate, temperature, and backflow. The customer-friendly data interfaces include an open API communication interface for direct integration into customer-specific data management systems, as well as high integration flexibility through water flow direction detection and dual mode for automatic fixed-network or drive-by network integration.
The digital ecosystem INFINIO® Together, the GWF LIFE app ensures secure and efficient commissioning as well as reliable management of the security keys. At the same time, they enable direct and seamless integration of the device into the local network.

The GWF 4D technology® delivers highly precise, installation-independent flow measurements over an exceptionally wide measuring range up to R2000 according to MID, detects leaks immediately and operates reliably with minimal pressure loss thanks to a dry, obstruction-free measuring channel – even under demanding conditions.
Based on time-reverse acoustics, GWF has developed a unique methodology for processing and correcting ultrasonic signals. The signal structure operates in "disks," thus capturing the entire flow channel. Furthermore, instead of cumbersome and sensitive correction tables, GWF uses proprietary correction algorithms based on the physical flow profile. This improves measurement stability and the repeatability of results, even under adverse conditions.
The implementation of 4D technology® leads to optimized signal generation and post-processing of the measurement data. Additionally, the signal-to-noise ratio on the receiver side is maximized by the applied patented method, guaranteeing high performance.
The unique approach to handling converters and product integration ensures long-term product stability.
