Precise irrigation technology in action: Our project in Hungary

Water scarcity is one of the most pressing challenges of our time. This makes irrigation systems that use water efficiently, responsibly, and transparently all the more important. This is precisely where our current project in Hungary comes in – with modern measurement solutions that are setting new standards in water management.

Precise flow measurement as a basis for sustainable control

Whether urban green spaces, industrial utilities, or ecological water management systems: only those who know precisely where and how much water flows can control these systems reliably and in a resource-efficient manner. Two applications were implemented for the project:

• Mobile river water extraction with the Q-Eye PSC Insertion Sensor
• Flow measurement in an irrigation canal with Q-Eye PSC and Area Velocity Sensor

Both installations required technical skill – and even a daring plunge into cold water at a mere 7.8 °C. This deployment impressively demonstrates the commitment and expertise our team brings to the site.

Stable results and a strong foundation for the future

The measurements provide robust and reproducible data that will serve as a basis for future applications in irrigation technology. The project also marks the start of a promising collaboration in Hungary.
