The combination of scientific expertise and practical application creates new impetus for both companies and students. Within the framework of the Capstone projects 2026, several teams from the University of St. Gallen collaborated with GWF on practical issues in the fields of marketing and sales.
The focus was on strategic topics related to communication, market approach, and the further development of existing activities. The aim was to develop new perspectives and innovative approaches with concrete practical relevance.
During the project phase, the student teams analyzed various challenges and developed structured and practical solutions. The development of the projects over the entire period was particularly exciting: initial conceptual ideas evolved into well-founded strategies and concrete recommendations for action, offering added value for future projects and internal processes.
The combination of scientific methodology, analytical thinking and new perspectives provided valuable impetus for the further development of existing marketing and communication approaches.
Close collaboration with educational institutions is an important part of GWF's corporate culture. The exchange with students and young talent creates space for innovation, new approaches, and practical experience on both sides.
GWF understands the corporate value "Community" to mean precisely this active transfer of knowledge between business, education and practice.
Special thanks go to all the students, the supervising lecturers, as well as the internal project managers and staff who supported the projects with their commitment and expertise.
Many of the ideas and approaches developed are now being further considered internally and integrated into future projects and processes.
In addition to the annual HSG projects, GWF offers further opportunities for students and young professionals – from internships and trainee programs to practical project work.
