A study commissioned by the city of Lucerne has identified water as one of the region's key innovation and economic drivers. To fully realize this potential, stakeholders are needed who pool their knowledge and explore new avenues together.
As a company rooted in Lucerne, GWF is committed to working together with WATER FOR WATER (WfW) and the City of Lucerne for the construction of a Water Innovation Hub.
The initiative aims to connect utility companies, universities, technology providers, and public institutions. This interdisciplinary exchange is intended to accelerate the development, testing, and practical implementation of innovations.
A strong network creates the foundation to jointly tackle the challenges of water management and to promote new solutions.
The partnership with WfW extends far beyond regional projects. As the secretariat of Swiss Water Partnership (SWP) GWF supports the exchange between stakeholders in the Swiss water industry and promotes cooperation along the entire value chain.
This creates networks that share knowledge, accelerate innovation, and work together on solutions for the water industry of tomorrow.
The major challenges in the water sector can only be solved collectively. Open collaboration, strong partnerships, and exchange between business, science, and public institutions create the conditions for sustainable innovation.
Through its involvement in the Water Innovation Hub Lucerne and the Swiss Water Partnership GWF is making an active contribution to shaping the future of the water industry together.
