Digital transformation in drinking water contamination monitoring

Course content

In the final seminar, we will focus on the transition from targeted protection of individual facilities to the comprehensive management of entire catchment areas. You will learn how surface water, groundwater, meteorological data, stormwater retention basins, and other influencing factors can be combined to form a holistic view. We will demonstrate, using practical examples, how an integrated approach significantly improves risk analysis and prevention.

A key focus is on the innovative GWF unimon online monitoring solution, which enables continuous, selective, and early detection of contamination events. Concrete examples will demonstrate how data from a wide variety of sources can be intelligently networked and analyzed. This allows you to identify potential hazards in a timely manner and initiate targeted countermeasures.

  • From individual properties to comprehensive catchment area management
  • Holistic approach: surface water, groundwater, weather stations, stormwater overflow basins
  • GWF unimon early warning system
